Handmade Architectural Playing Blocks Emphasizing the Materiality of Play​

Main Tools Used: Handmade with Walnut Wood, Band Saw, Sand Paper​

Coming up with this project, I was interested in how the physical world allows for constraints when it comes to interaction design. I wanted to create children's blocks that could a) be beautiful objects and b) guide one in thinking spatially and geometrically in new ways. While learning woodworking for this project was a challenge, I'm really glad with how it turned out!​
