As a researcher at the Actuated Experience Lab, Emilie plays an active role in designing and developing novel tangible user interfaces, experimenting with new materials, technologies, and forms. Her work is driven by a deep understanding of both the technical and the human aspects of interaction design, and by a commitment to creating experiences that are functional, beautiful, and cognizant of our future.
Emilie studied Computer Science and Anthropology at the University of Chicago, receiving an honors degree with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction.
Originally from the US and France, Emilie has lived in New York, Chicago, London, Budapest, and Heidelberg. She is currently based in NYC.
