During the summer of 2018, I spent 6 weeks in Yunnan, a land-locked province in the southwest of China on the border of Tibet and Myanmar.

 

This area is home to the largest amount of ethnic minorities in the country. During my time, I used my camera to explore how cultural traditions were evolving in rural villages as generations age.  

This set of photos includes photos from Yunnan and Beijing.
